Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power company was honored with CII- ITC Sustainability Award 2013 for its commitment and exemplary work done in the area of Sustainability. In recognition of this commitment, Tata Power received the Commendation Certification for Significant Achievement on the Journey towards Sustainable Development in Category A for the year 2012. The award was presented by Hon. Minister for Corporate Affairs Shri Sachin Pilot.

Dr Yogendra Saxena, Chief Sustainability Officer, Tata Power received the award on behalf of the organization.

Instituted by the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development in 2006, the Sustainability Awards identify and recognize exemplary performance in economic, social and environmental dimensions of Indian business. Tata Power also won the CII- ITC Sustainability Award in 2012 for its ‘strong commitment’ to the environment.
