launched its stylish SUV – CAPTUR with enhanced safety features in compliance with the
regulations stipulated by the Indian authorities. The new CAPTUR is equipped with numerous
active and passive safety features across all variants along with a host of other new
enhancements. With the launch of CAPTUR, Renault created a unique vehicle class, led by its
stunning expressive design, class-leading features and innovative technology.
NEW RENAULT CAPTUR: ENHANCED SAFETY FEATURES
Renault CAPTUR is certified to exceed frontal, lateral and pedestrian safety and is compliant
with safety features stipulated by the Indian authorities. The reinforced body shell increases
torsional rigidity to ensure passengers are always safe. The new Renault CAPTUR is equipped
with a host of active and passive safety features like dual airbags, Antilock-Braking System (ABS)
with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) & Brake Assist, Speed alert, Rear parking sensor, Driver
& Co-Driver seat belt reminder, height adjustable seat-belts, lateral ISOFIX – child seat anchor,
rear defogger, rear wiper & washer, and speed sensing auto door lock. All these safety features
are standard across all versions of the new Renault CAPTUR.
RENAULT CAPTUR: PREMIUM FEATURE LOADED
Renault CAPTUR has a stunning French design, clearly reflecting Renault’s new design DNA.
Together with its global styling cues, the designing of Renault CAPTUR also accounts for Indian
conditions and consumers’ preferences, offering the best-in-class ground clearance of 210mm.
The PLATINE comes equipped with auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers to keep you
prepared for all conditions, roof rails, rear parking camera with guidelines, cruise control with
speed limiter, 17-inch Crystal Cut alloys which take luxury and convenience a notch higher. The
new Auto fold ORVM with Welcome function is synced with the smart access card’s walk-away
lock which makes entry & exit from the vehicle an absolute cakewalk. The PLATINE is also
loaded with the unique Innovative Lighting System (ILS) comprising the Sparkle Full LED
headlamps, Floating Indicators, Sapphire LED DRL, Ripple Tail lamps accentuating the
CAPTUR’s signature design. In addition, the PLATINE offers six fashion inspired dual tone
options, Moonlight Silver with Black roof being a new combination. Customers can also choose
from three monotone colour options available in the RXE variant.
Renault CAPTUR comes loaded with more than 50 premium features as standard offerings
across all variants. The PLATINE features ultra-premium black & ivory interiors with contrast
accents & Black Leatherette seats. The intricately engineered ErgoDesign seats are 6-way
adjustable and come with ample legroom in both the front and back rows. Together with a high
driving position that offers wraparound panoramic visibility, the CAPTUR delivers unmatched
comfort. This is further complemented by thoughtful and convenient storage spaces, and a 392
litre boot that’s expandable up to 1352 litres.
NEW RENAULT CAPTUR: NEW 17.64CM TOUCHSCREEN MEDIANAV EVOLUTION
Renault CAPTUR delivers the next level of drive experience enabled by the One Integration
concept, Renault’s design approach that seamlessly connects the car and the driver. Renault
CAPTUR is equipped with modern hi-tech solutions which makes driving connected, convenient
and comfortable. These include an Infinity Instrument Cluster which provides a complete cockpit
experience to the driver, a user-friendly and intelligent 17.64 cm touchscreen MediaNAV
Evolution with Rear Parking Camera along with newly introduced Voice Recognition, Android
Auto and Apple Car Play. Customers can now access an array of apps on their smartphones
including advanced navigation through Google maps. It also features Eco Guide – a system that
monitors driving patterns and provides guidelines to improve efficiency.
RENAULT CAPTUR: PERFORMANCE MEETS STUNNING DESIGN AND EFFICIENCY
Renault CAPTUR is available with both petrol and diesel powertrain options. For the petrol
option, it is powered by the 16 valves 4 cylinders 1.5L H4K petrol engine mated to a 5-speed
manual gearbox, producing 106 PS at 5,600 rpm and 142 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The petrol
powertrain delivers a mileage of 13.87 kmpl (ARAI certified).
The diesel version is powered by the 1.5L K9K diesel engine (common rail injection), mated to a
6-speed manual gearbox, delivering a maximum power of 110 PS at 3,850 rpm and peak torque
of 240 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The diesel powertrain delivers a mileage of 20.37 kmpl (ARAI certified)
